Rehabilitation for the movements you want back.

When aches change the way you move, a useful plan starts with the task that has become difficult. PrimeHer combines hands-on care and progressive exercise for women in Montréal, including during perimenopause and menopause.

Start with the activity, not just the symptom

Reaching a shelf, kneeling in the garden and going down stairs each ask something different of your body. Your movement assessment explores your current ability and helps identify a practical goal for your sessions.

A session adjusts to your response

We check how you have felt since your last visit before choosing the day’s approach. Hands-on techniques and guided exercises are adapted to your assessment, comfort and response. Practising with support helps you understand what to do between appointments.

Review the plan instead of guessing

A progress check at session three gives us a point to review what is changing. We can adjust exercise difficulty and the plan as appropriate. If progress stalls or your needs are outside our scope, we discuss a suitable referral rather than simply continuing unchanged.

Build toward everyday participation

The aim is a manageable way to practise the activities that matter to you. Rehabilitation may lead into strength training, check-ins or an independent home plan, depending on your assessment and progress. Results and the pace of change vary from person to person.
